When you don’t have other radio emitters in the neighborhood, the WLAN channels will be free so that it may combine channels.
Only with such combinations, the full specified speed for the given number of antennas might be available. Check if your Internet access router has builtin speed test option. You might find in its advanced settings or in diagnostics if present. If your Internet access router has no such option, your test gets less meaningful. Also, wifi itself is not reliable.
